A service to mark the launch of the Reformed Baptist Study Centre, featuring a lecture by Professor Dr Michael A. G. Haykin (via Zoom).
Join us for a special service marking the launch of the Reformed Baptist Study Centre.
The evening will feature a lecture delivered via Zoom by Professor Dr Michael A. G. Haykin, alongside a time of gathering as we formally inaugurate the work of the Centre. All are warmly welcome to attend.
Additionally, the first twenty people to sign-up for attendance will receive a free copy of Robert Strivens’ new book “The 1689 Handbook: A Chapter by Chapter Introduction to the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith” upon arrival.
There will be refreshments. Parking around the church building is widely available free of charge.
The Reformed Baptist Study Centre exists to serve the church by deepening her understanding of Scripture, history and theology within the confessional and Reformed Baptist tradition. Its aim is to unite faithful scholarship with confessional conviction, equipping believers, pastors and students through serious study and theological reflection.
Rooted in the heritage of the Second London Baptist Confession (1677/89), the Centre seeks not only to preserve the riches of Baptist history, but to cultivate faithful teaching for the ongoing reformation of the church today.
Through lectures, seminars and gatherings, the Centre provides opportunities for thoughtful engagement, warm fellowship and theological enrichment.
